Precision Defence Machining for Switzerland – CNC Milling, Turning, Welding

Switzerland’s precision industry sets a famously high bar, and Swiss defence procurement expects suppliers to meet it – with verifiable quality, complete documentation and absolute discretion. MTB Metall competes on those terms: a Bavarian master-craftsman workshop whose production processes are fully documented and whose components are traceable from raw material to delivery.

For Swiss defence customers we produce CNC-milled parts on 3- to 5-axis centres with travels up to 1,270 mm, CNC-turned precision components, and TIG/MAG-welded assemblies executed to DIN EN ISO-certified procedures. Applications include housings and protective elements for military electronics, mounts for sensors and cameras, and structural parts for vehicle and carrier systems. Aerospace- and defence-grade materials are supplied through our certified material partner, while BLACK MTB and XYLAN®-based high-performance coatings are applied as a service – under NDA where required.

Delivery & cooperation

Although Switzerland is not an EU member, shipping industrial goods there from Bavaria is routine: established road-freight lanes and standard export documentation keep transit times short and predictable. From Wonneberg, the Swiss border is a manageable drive, so on-site meetings are realistic at short notice. In between, cooperation runs digitally – CAD/CAM data, inspection reports and correspondence in German or English.
